用料  

All purpose flour 普通面粉 2 cups
Baking powder 泡打粉 2 tbsp
Sugar 糖 1 tbsp
Salt 盐 1 tsp
Butter(cold/unsalted) 5 tbsp
Milk(whole) 1 cup

Biscuits 美式松饼的做法  

  1. Preheat oven to 425F. Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a large mixing bowl. 预热烤箱425F,将面粉、泡打粉、糖和盐一起过筛到一个大碗中。

  2. Cut butter into flour in the mixing bowl using a fork or a pastry cutter. 用叉子或糕点切刀将黄油切碎与面粉混合。

  3. Return dough to bowl, add milk and stir with a fork until it forms a rough ball. 将牛奶倒入面团用叉子搅拌成面团。

  4. Turn the dough out onto a well-floured surface and pat it down into a rough rectangle, about an inch thick. Fold it over and gently pat it down again. Repeat. 将面团取出放在洒好面粉的台面上轻拍成大约1英寸的矩形,然后重叠面团,压扁。重复此步骤3次。

  5. Cut dough into biscuits using a floured glass or biscuit cutter. 用圆形模具将面团切下。

  6. Place biscuits on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and bake 10-15minutes. 将松饼面团放入铺好烤纸的烤盘上烤10-15分钟。
